The house in Warmia

FAQ

Find answers to our most frequently asked questions. What are the check-in and check-out times? Can I bring my pet?

What are the check-in and check-out times?

At Highland Warmia you can check in from 16:00. Please vacate your room before 11:00 on the day of departure.

Can I bring my pet?

Of course — four-legged friends are very welcome here. We do ask, however, that you let us know in advance that you’ll be arriving with your pet. A stay with an animal involves an additional charge of 50 zł per night.

Are meals included in the price of the stay?

Meals are not included in the price of the stay, but you can purchase board on site. We usually divide it into breakfasts and the Host’s Afternoon Menu. The breakfast buffet includes, among other things, sausages, boards of cold cuts and cheeses, homemade cottage cheeses, sourdough bread baked on site, jams, eggs, egg spread, cereals, and fresh fruit and vegetables. On request, we’ll also prepare pancakes or scrambled eggs. The Host’s Afternoon Menu features soup (two to choose from each day, with unlimited refills), a main course (fish, game, seasonal fruit and vegetables, local produce) and a café corner with freshly ground coffee, a selection of teas, fruit compote, fruit and homemade cake.

Can I order extra snacks and drinks?

Yes — you can order grazing boards and barbecue provisions, as well as a selection of interesting wines and beers.

What activities are available on site?

Highland Warmia is a place full of things to do. On site you’ll find beach volleyball, football, basketball and badminton courts, along with all the sports equipment you need. We also offer covered barbecue shelters, fire pits for campfires, and gazebos with swings and hammocks. The grounds include a lake with its own beach and jetties, plus plenty of recreational gear: SUP boards, pedal boats, rowing boats, fishing chairs and sun loungers.

Are there activities for children?

Yes. For the youngest guests we’ve prepared a playground and a playroom. Inside the house you’ll find a feasting room with board games and a foosball table, as well as a utility room for anglers and hunters and baskets for mushroom pickers.

How much does a stay cost for children?

Our youngest guests up to 3 years old, as well as older children sharing a bed with their parents, stay with us free of charge. We also offer reduced rates for meals: breakfast for children up to 13 years old costs 50 zł, and the Host’s Afternoon Menu (when choosing a dish from the children’s menu) costs 150 zł.

Can I see and feed the Highland cattle?

The Highland enclosure is a favourite, especially with the youngest visitors. It’s home to a herd of very gentle cows, bulls and calves of the Scottish Highland breed. You can watch the animals and feed them with the food we provide. Despite their friendly nature, younger children should approach the enclosure accompanied by an adult.

Do you offer milk from the Highland cattle?

Scottish Highland cattle are classed as beef cattle, so we don’t offer their milk — only their meat.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Of course! You can find out how to order a gift voucher on our voucher offer page.
