A Home in Warmia
A Home in Warmia
Our home sits right on the shore of a small lake in the village of Zerbuń. We are immersed in the surrounding nature – meadows, forests, fields, wetlands – nature in its purest form.
Quiet and calm take on a different dimension here. Quiet is quiet, and calm is calm. The house has 10 guest rooms; we share our meals in a large, sunny dining room with a beautiful view over the meadow.
We spend our afternoons by the lake, taking walks and delighting in what surrounds us, and in the evening we love to sit by the fire and gaze up at the starry sky. On autumn and winter evenings the fireplace crackles cheerfully while we talk about life, treat ourselves to good drinks, and sometimes play cards.
Highland
Part of our Guesthouse is a farm of Scottish Highland cattle. It is one of the oldest and at the same time most dignified cattle breeds. Thanks to their long, shaggy coat and great resilience to natural conditions, the animals live outdoors all year round.
You can see the herd up close while walking along the vast pasture. For safety reasons, small children should remain under the care of adults during this time.
